The Sun and the Star is a 2023 middle-grade fantasy adventure novel by Rick Riordan and Mark Oshiro, based on Greco-Roman mythology. A sequel to The Tower of Nero and the first book in The Nico di Angelo Adventures series, it follows demigods Nico di Angelo and Will Solace on a quest into Tartarus to rescue their friend Bob, the Titan Iapetus.
